Congratulations! Wusi, Elisabeth 1 and 2 schools will have their 24th year anniversary this year. That was wonderful. We visited your schools in the last week of February. All your school buildings are in good shape. Toilets are also as clean as ever. There is only one teacher left who knows us. That is good. This year your school has108 children with 3 teachers. PAUL water filter keeps filtering water and it is already 9 years of service there. At the moment your school does not need any special maintenance. But the village committee came and met us on that day and they told us some of their difficulties. That their water pump from the tubewell for the village is damaged. Their tube well is 1220 feet deep and the pump motor has 10 Hp. They are asking for some help to buy the new pump. I told them I can not promise. But I can tell our friends. I ask them how much it will cost to buy. They estimated about 1000 Euro. I just would like to inform you of their wish. Thank you so much again for all your works, efforts, interests, help and support for Myanmar! Without you without us!
Now our land is not in a good condition. War is all around the country. Every group is searching for new members to fight. All the young people between 18 to 35 years old are very worried. Now all the passport offices are full and a lot of young people are going abroad. I am now about 40 years old and I also need to worry. My family wants me to go abroad alone first. But it is difficult and I need to think about our projects and my family.
Here in Bagan, there are some local visitors on weekends. They spend their money because they do not know what will happen next in Myanmar. Everyone is hoping for a better time.... Min Min
